Smartphotos provides a range of digital product photography services in Vancouver BC and Fraser Valley. We produce work for web use (on-line catalogue photography) or higher resolution printed catalogues. Work can be studio based or on location in your factory or office.

We have the knowhow to photograph objects that glint like gold, silver, stainless or chrome, transparent objects like glass, crystals, etc., objects from a few millimeters in size like needles, pills or electronic chips, to large objects like cars, tools, industrial accessories, industrial engines, appliances.We use the same advanced cameras and lenses whether in the studio or in your factory. Large industrial products are often only assembled during fabrication and on site after delivery. We're happy to come out, as part of our industrial photography service, and take photographs during construction and at the final customers installation location. We aim to produce product photography that is both informative and eye-catching, for brochures, display stands and web use. We can provide high quality prints of images to special order. An important part of getting the image you want, is conveying the subtlety of texture and materials. Careful attention to lighting and the technical aspects of product photography provide the source images you are looking for.

To ensure the safety of your products and to reduce the transportation time and cost from you to our studios, we can setup a mini professional studio right on your premises thus assuring you a direct control of the photo production by a designated employee.

The picture of the object will be further adjusted to eliminate glint and unwanted light reflection. The final image will reflect the original color of the photographed object. At the request of the client, we can add shadows or glint to the entire object or to part of it where the client believes that would represent an advantage. For instance, the label of the product could be brighter.

The photographed product can be transformed in an "object" without background (PSD file), ready to be inserted in a presentation catalogue or in the advertising publicity of your business. Similarly we can add a background to the object in the form of a color or any background of your choice. For glass, we can do transparent zones or shadows to create the sensation of volume.

We have the ability to create, in most cases, a production flow of about 250 product pictures per week and this production flow will change according to the complexity of your requirements. We are able to insert in each picture the name or the product number according to your inventory specifications.

The final pictures will be ready to be used in catalogues on line for Internet sites and also for advertising printing . All images created during the photo sitting are the property of the client. All images are produced with professional equipment.
